The Attacks

Shark attacks are rare but usually when one  does happen it is because the shark has mistaken the human for food.  They can mistake a human for a sea lion because of the way they float on top of the water.  There is on average 10 deaths a year caused by a shark attack.  Sharks are curious animals and when they see something swimming in the water they will take a bite out of it to see if it is food.  Sharks have many rows of teeth that are razor sharp and one bite can cause a human to bleed to death.  The areas of attacks are usually fresh water like lakes, rivers and estuaries where such shark like the Bull shark is found, this usually is where a human will find them selves face to face with a deadly creation a shark who is just looking for food.
